Some of you might already know that I now have returned to old Gothenburg, Consequently: this report constitutes the last piece of information that I present to you from Nepal. My hope is that this series hasn´t been mind-numbing but informative and somewhat interesting.

The first two building has begun to take form. The foundations have been built and the beams for bottom floor are in place. Furthermore the work on pillars supporting walls and upper floors has been initiated. At this point the work is on schedule and it seems the project will be done in time. (My absence, off course, will pose a cosmic dilemma?!) I´m sure they´ll do fine.

Instead of merely giving information directly about the project I also feel something should be said about the state of the country. The election was held a few weeks back and the party that won was the Maoists, seems to me people in Nepal are happy about that. The Maoists has said that they will put an effort into tourism and the infrastructure of the country. My take of the matter is that any step taken will be an improvement.

The last few weeks I took a little time of to see some of what Nepal has to offer. One thing I feel should be done when in Nepal, off course, is trekking. The trek we did was the one to Mount Everest Base Camp (>5300m) and we also summated Kalapathar (>5700m). The view, as can be assumed, was extraordinary. The level of oxygen, however, was not  truly a great experience nonetheless.

A few days we also spend in the Nepali jungle. We got to see: rhinos, elephants, crocodiles among other animals. The tigers, though, a bit too much liked to keep to themselves, bastards.
The rhinos

This pretty much sums up what have been required to report, also what freely chosen to off course!

Well, once again back in Sweden, taking pleasure in my engineering duties.

See you around!
